If you are in Rehoboth, make sure to stop here! This is the most lovely little restaurant bar! The inside and outside are painted in playful pastel colors, creating a beach town feel. With Roho's growth, there are many fancy new restaurants that are great, but this is the only old Rehoboth beach town stop with old-school hospitality and charm. Food is good and the drinks are great! The outdoor seating in front is the perfect place to relax and people watch all day and they have live music almost every night. Also, the owners, Steph and Sheila, will make fast friends with you by your second or third visit and you'll feel like you have your own little spot to go like "Cheers" if you go to Roho regularly. We never miss a stop there on a Roho weekend. For realz!

Wow. My faith in Yelp suffered a big blow today because I wasted a meal eating in this Yelp-recommended hole rather than eat in one of the many other wonderful little restaurants within blocks. I don't know what people are thinking recommending this place. Most of the food is of the frozen/fried variety, and even that is fried poorly -- limp, greasy fries anyone? A mixed green salad ordered with rare grilled tuna came overcooked, and the salad contained little other than shredded cheddar cheese. Enough said.

I think because we didnt really eat the specialty it wasnt as great as the other reviews. We had the Maryland crab soup which tastes like watered down chicken noodle soup and the ahi tuna entree which taste like chicken...

Pretty nice spot. We came in during a slow spell. Service was good, prices & portions were okay. Seafood was yummy. Hot & fried just right. We had the clam platter & the shrimp platter. We could have done without the $3 sodas, but we will be back none the less. A/C inside felt nice on a hot day.

The Seafood Shack is just that. It's a great place to drop in and get a Po' Boy or some tasty, well prepared fried seafood. The bloody marys are high on horseradish and somewhat resemble an alcoholic version of cocktail sauce. That might sound strange, but it was tasty and refreshing PLUS it went very well with our fried oysters, soft shell crab Po' Boy and Clam Strip basket. Like I said, your basic stuff, but delicious! Cute little patio in the front and back, plus there's indoor seating if the weather isn't as nice as it was while we were there. The women that run the place are friendly AND willing to provide a few quarters (for meters) to their customers unlike some other places in the 'hood. The food was tasty and the drinks were, too. Fries were hot and crisp (in retrospect, they would have been even better with a little malt vinegar!) and the coleslaw was creamy and sweet. This is the perfect place to "soak up" a hangover with some delicious fried fish in the morning!

The food here is still excellent, but having eaten there today, I see prices are the same or maybe more, and the portions are very small now, I was surprised at how small the po boys are since we came last year. Also the staff didn't seem as friendly anymore. In fact we were ordering off the top of our heads, they didn't offer to show a menu, and then didn't mention that sides came with the sandwiches (either cole slaw or fries) they asked us *if* we wanted them-well yeah for the price of the food, if they come with it of course we wanted them. And if we knew that we would have definitely preferred fries. I am very disappointed in these changes, for the price vs. portion, I am not sure we will be returning this trip, when we used to stop in a few times each trip. I just can't justify the value of that. Also, the bread isn't as good as it used to be.

The steamed shrimp is exceptional here, as is all the food in my experience. What makes it stand out for me is the welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Even my dog is encouraged to make himself at home on the porch with me when I dine outside. I took my mom here on New Year's Eve and she was made to feel like one of the family, even though it was her very first visit. This is exactly what one imagines when thinking of the great American hometown food joint. Its great!

This place is excellent!!! From the service to the food and drinks. We will definitely go back. The soup was great. I ordered the crab cakes and my wife had the grilled tuna, we split our dishes because mine came with 2 crab cakes and hers was a decent size piece of tuna that was cooked perfectly. Short walk from the beach and live music... See you guys next year, thanks.

We always stop in for a shrimp poo boy for lunch. Great little place on Baltimore Ave owned by 2 great women who are very friendly. They also know how to make a drink.

Went there one time and felt like we were invading a private party. Nobody seemed to want to wait on us. We were not "locals" so we felt like we were being dismissed. We have not been back and do not plan on returning. Years later, one of the owners was outside as we walked by with our dog. She gushed all over our dog and commented how "dog-friendly" they were at the Shack. Too bad they aren't "people-friendly."

Cute little place with delicious seafood. It was recommended to us by a local bartender and he was so right! It was really good with great service. Had the crab cakes which were super tasty and the crab dip was amazing!
